Advice with no product attached.
We do not resell hardware, take vendor margin, or earn referral fees. The only thing we sell is the time it takes to look properly.
What you run, what condition it is in, what it costs, and what would happen if the worst piece of it failed on a Friday afternoon.
We read the agreements — term, notice, ownership, exit — and tell you plainly what you signed and what it would cost to leave.
Cabling, connectivity lead times, wireless design, and a cutover plan that does not put your practice offline during month-end.
Licences, storage tiers, and backup retention, measured against what you actually use. Savings are usually in the low thousands per year.
A gap review against PIPA and PIPEDA expectations, plus whatever your professional body or insurer asks you to attest to.
Findings, options, costs, and a recommendation — short enough that partners read it, specific enough that they can act on it.

Good reasons to bring in an outside view
Forty thousand dollars of hardware and a three-year term. It might be right. You need someone who does not benefit either way to tell you.
The IT work has long lead times — circuits take weeks. The cost of planning late is measured in downtime during your busiest month.
The best time to read your agreement is before the notice window closes, not after it quietly renews for another three years.
Questions about it consulting
Do you resell hardware or software?
No. We have no vendor margin and no referral fees, which is the entire point of the engagement.
Can we hire you for consulting only?
Yes. Plenty of clients use us for a review, implement it with their existing provider, and never buy managed service from us.
How long does a review take?
Most are two to ten working days of fieldwork, with the written report inside two weeks of starting.
Will you talk to our current provider?
Only with your permission, and only if it makes the review better. Some engagements are more useful if we do not.
